That is so awful! I could almost feel your stress and frustration (nice storytelling!). However, I absolutely love your stockings and that you hand-embroidered the monograms. What treasures! They look gorgeous hung in front of that fireplace and I'm sure your kids will love them forever. I am debating making my family new stockings... but the time commitment has me on the fence with two little boys at home all the time. Yours make me feel like I might be able to handle it... and we can use them next year. Haha.
